Open Positions

Female Co-Host

It's been too long since the show had a female voice, so the search is on for a new one (or two).

Description:

You will be a permanent host on the weekly audio episodes. This includes the monthly Issues of the Day episodes and hosting solo when Henry needs to step away for production meetings or other business matters. You MUST know and consume Geek Culture. That means reading comic books, playing video games and watching movies and TV shows. You love attending comic cons, (or would love to attend your first) and you don't get nervous when Pedro Pascal or Hailee Steinfeld or Steven Spielberg are in front of you and a camera. (Not an if, they will be in front of you.)

If you've ever wanted to be a podcast host, but had no idea how to get started, this is perfect for you. If you're a college media major, this is really perfect for you, as you'll learn from an industry veteran who also knows the tech and trends powering new media.

Recording Studio

Show Producer/ Guest Booker

Description:

You'll come up with weekly topics & guests, using the show's long-time news sources. You'll keep an organized and detailed guest/recording calendar, being careful to not double-book any guests or recording sessions.

You'll coordinate and be the on-site contact for all live events, including San Diego Comic-Con and The Geek Speak Expo.

The show producer/guest booker will be expected to maintain and develop professional relationships with film & television studios, PR companies & reps, filmmakers, actors and other Geek Culture creators. If you want this position just to get selfies with RDJ or to attend parties, then please don't waste our time or yours.

This is NOT an on-air position.
